Beautiful and rather deep ruby color. Expressive nose of ripe fruits, cherries, cassis and spicy notes followed by a tobacco finish. The palate attack is soft and smooth. The tannins are silky and well wrapped with a remarkable persistence. Alix is a wine that can be drunk now but can also be kept for about 5 more yearsmatching food and wine
